Celebrate Your Faith
Baptism is often the first next step to grow in your faith that says you are serious about following Jesus. Jesus himself was baptised and he asks those who would choose to follow him to do the same. Baptism is symbolic: as we go down under the water, just as Jesus died and was buried, it symbolises dying to a life where you are in charge and then as we rise out of the water, just as Jesus rose from the grave, it symbolises our rising to new life in Him where He is Lord of our life. Baptism is publicly declaring that you are choosing to identify as a follower of Jesus.
