[email protected]Whitehill KidsWhitehill Minis is for children from 1 year old to 4 years old and runs every Sunday morning during term time in the Green Room, beside the church auditorium by a group of friendly volunteers who all hold Blue Cards. Whitehill Minis Children learn that God loves them, God made them and Jesus wants to be their friend. There are fun activities, a Bible story and play time. This program runs during the main teaching time in the service. Children remain with their parents in the church until this time. Our Sunday morning environment caters for kids from Pre-Prep (Kindy – aged 4 years old) through to year 6. [email protected] runs during the 9am service in the hall located beside the church auditorium and is open from 8.45am. We aim to bring the Bible to life and practically applying it to our lives. It is built around the Three Basic Truths:
- Wisdom: I need to make the wise choice.
- Faith: I can trust God no matter what.
- Friendship: I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
- Each child is welcomed into our kid-friendly zone and can connect with their small group leader and other kids through games and activities centered on the monthly theme.
Playgroup offers activities for all ages and is an opportunity for children to enhance their gross motor, fine motor and social skills. Each term we have a theme and children are exposed to activities such as play dough, painting, craft, puzzles, song time, story time, outside time, free play with play equipment, dress ups, home corner, sensory play, group games and independent play. We provide morning tea for the mums and carers. Please bring along your child’s water bottle, morning tea and hat.
Tiny Tots Playgroup operates for 8 weeks on a Wednesday from 9:30-11.00am during the school term. Cost is $3 per child or $5 for two or more children from the same family. Babies under twelve months are free!

Come along and make some new friends on Friday nights. [email protected] come together on Friday during the school term from 5:00pm-6:30pm.
The program caters for children in Grades 1-6. We meet together as a whole group for a time of sharing what God has planned for the lives of the children in our community and gather in smaller groups to enjoy games, plenty of fun, a light supper and children have an opportunity to engage with a volunteer in smaller groups.
The cost is $3 per child each week.
Fun Music Program for Young KidsOur mainly music program runs for 8 weeks on Fridays during a school term from 9:30-10:30 Am at a cost of $3 per child or $5 for two or more children from the same family per week. In Mainly Music we meet on a Friday and offer the children a chance to play with toys, puzzles and books. We provide morning tea for the children, mums and carers. In our music which is usually half an hour, the children are able to learn about rhythm, rhyme and new skills. This time is led by a volunteer at the church and the children follow the instructions given and join in using scarves and egg shakers. This is a get time for children to expand their gross motor skills as well as coordination. Each term we introduce some new songs for all to learn. Why not come along and have some fun!
Parents, no-one influences your child’s faith more than you! The average child spends over 1000 hours a year at school and less than 50 hours in church. Most parents have more opportunities to discuss spiritual issues with their kids so what happens at home can be more important than what happens at church.
We need you to help us help your kids, by talking to them at home. The small groups, friendships and mentoring we offer at Whitehill Kids rely on regular connection – so we need your help to help your kids connect with the same friends and leaders at the same time each Sunday.
Parent Cue/God Time
Pick up a Parent Cue and God Time card from your child’s small group leader each week. The cards have everything you need to know about what your child is learning in Whitehill Kids, including our Big Idea, monthly memory verse, Bible stories and our bottom lines (the most important thing to remember). There is also information on having a family night at home to reinforce what your kids are learning at church.
