Whitehill Church of Christ is a vibrant church in Ipswich, seeking to appoint a part-time Children’s and Families Pastor to our growing ministry team.

We believe that children are precious to God and so want to support families with healthy programs that help to lay biblical foundations for children and partner with parents. A growing healthy Children’s ministry is vital to our church having a sustained impact for the gospel.

Currently, the church has four core ministries in this area: with two pre-school aged programs (ie. a playgroup and Mainly Music) and two primary age programs (ie. Whitehill Kids Friday and Sunday).

Applicants should have relevant experience and training, with the appropriate gifting and heart to lead and expand these existing ministries. As a team leader, the Pastor will encourage, train and equip volunteers to serve and expand existing teams. The Pastor will also have the vision to explore new opportunities and innovative areas to connect with the unreached families in our community (eg. School Chaplaincy, holiday programs).
