NextGen Pastor: Brad Murch

We are very excited to welcome Brad to the staff team at Whitehill in 2021.  Brad will be inducted on Sunday 24th January 2021 at both services 9am and 5.30pm ready for a new season of ministry.

In the NextGen role, Brad will oversee our Youth and Young Adult Ministries and our new Online Services.  The role is 4 days per week at present as Brad needs a day to complete his BTh studies in 2021.  He has completed his role at Heathmont Baptist Church in Melbourne in December 2020 and has had a much needed break with Julia and spent Christmas with his family here in Queensland.

Please pray for Brad’s transition into his exciting new role at Whitehill.

Ps Roger.

A message from Brad

Hi, I’m Brad and I am excited to be joining the Whitehill staff team as NextGen Pastor.
I am passionate about seeing people come to a saving faith in Jesus and begin practicing the way of Jesus together.

For the last three years, my wife, Julia, and I have been serving in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. During this time, I have been completing a Bachelor of Theology at ACOM. Prior to my time at HBC, I completed an internship at Whitehill where I developed a passion for discipleship and left my study of occupational therapy to follow God’s call into ministry.

Originally being from Queensland, I never acclimatised to Melbourne nor came to love AFL (sorry Roger). I am excited to be moving back to Queensland where I can enjoy the sunshine with friends and family. If I’m not at church, you can find me up a mountain, on a beach or losing dozens of balls on the golf course.

I look forward to joining you all in the new year and I can’t wait to see how God will continue working in and through the people of Whitehill.
