Property Update November 2020

Oct 29, 2020 | News

It has been a very busy and exciting few weeks here on the Whitehill premises with the arrival of RedMax Mower, the completion of the operable wall and the re-organisation of the store room.
Great news also is that Gladstone Church of Christ are wanting to take our green pews. So they will be going to a new home soon.

Special Grant Funding:
We are excited to share that after submitting applications for two grants, Whitehill has been successful for both in the last month:

  1. Community Operational Support Fund – This grant was set up to assist local businesses with operational funds during this difficult Covid time.  Whitehill was awarded a grant ($173.80) to update our two driveway entry signs and billboard with our new website address  This small change enables the community to better find Whitehill online.
  1. Covid-19 Community Repair and Replacement Fund – This grant was setup to enable repairs or upgrades during the Covid-19 period through local businesses.  Whitehill was successful in its application ($7,500) towards costs to purchase a new portable camera and tripod for livestreaming events, a lighting bar upgrade on stage and some microphones to enhance the livestreaming with congregational singing.
We would like to express our thanks and appreciation to Ipswich City Council for these two funding endeavours.
