What is Commitment Day?
Commitment Day is Whitehill’s annual generosity campaign, beyond usual tithes and offerings, to fund large Kingdom focused projects.
Each year, projects are prayerfully selected to resource mission and ministry, locally and abroad, to equip the people of God for effective Gospel ministry.
How can I play my part?
The Bible tells us that we are invited to partner with God as He advances the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. We can each partner with God through prayer, service and submission to the Holy Spirit’s transforming work in our lives.
However, we also called to partner with God by using the resources that He has first given us, to equip and strengthen the Church for mission and ministry in this world. Our generosity has a greater impact when we unite to fund projects that are beyond our individual capacity.
When is pledge day?
Details of each project will be shared each Sunday, during Whitehill’s services, throughout July and August. You will be able to find the project details on this webpage each week if you are not able to be in the room with us on Sundays.
On August 23, during both services, we will invite everyone to write down a pledge of their contribution.
Following this pledge moment, you are able to then make your contribution by following the ways to give listed below.
What is the vision for CD 2026?
The vision of Commitment Day 2026 is “Greater”. CD26 Greater is about continuing to fuel and resource the areas where we are seeing God at work.
We believe the promise of Ephesians 3:20-21, which says that God is
“able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think”…
We are believing that He will continue to do even greater things upon that which we have already laboured toward. The three key areas that we believe God has greater plans for, are; Leaders, Churches and Discipleship.
